The increase in population and community activities in Kuningan District has led to a growing volume of waste, while the availability of official waste disposal sites (TPS) remains inadequate. This situation has prompted residents to dispose of waste improperly, such as along roadsides, in gardens, rice fields, riverbanks, and under bridges. This study aims to analyze the spatial distribution of illegal waste disposal sites and identify the factors contributing to their emergence. The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach, involving field observations with GPS to map the locations of illegal TPS, as well as interviews to understand the causes behind their emergence. The results show that there are 45 illegal TPS locations spread across 9 urban villages, with the highest number found in Cijoho (11 sites) and Ciporang (7 sites). The Average Nearest Neighbor (ANN) analysis indicates that the distribution pattern of the TPS is categorized as clustered, suggesting a tendency for people to dump waste in certain nearby locations. The main factors contributing to the emergence of illegal TPS are the limited availability of official TPS, inadequate waste collection services, and low public awareness of proper waste management practices.
